Terms of use.
These terms govern access to and use of safetycriticallabs.com. They apply to the website. Engagements with Safety Critical Labs for assessment or certification are governed by separate written agreements.
Acceptance
By accessing or using safetycriticallabs.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Permitted use
You may read, link to, and cite content on the Site for lawful purposes. The SCL AI Requirements Framework is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license and may be read, cited, and reproduced under those terms.
You may not:
- Use the Site to violate any applicable law or regulation
- Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy Site content beyond fair use, except for the framework document under its license
- Use the Safety Critical Labs name, certification mark, or logo without written authorization
- Claim certification, accreditation, or affiliation with SCL that does not exist
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Site
Intellectual property
The Safety Critical Labs name and certification marks are the property of Safety Critical Labs and are the subject of trademark applications filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Use of the marks is permitted only as expressly authorized in writing.
Site content not covered by the framework license is the copyrighted work of Safety Critical Labs.
Certification engagements are separate
Nothing on the Site creates a certification, assessment, or advisory relationship. Engagements for readiness assessment, certification, surveillance, or any other service are governed by a separate written engagement agreement executed between SCL and the client. Pricing, scope, and deliverables are defined in that agreement.
No warranty for Site content
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." Safety Critical Labs makes no warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current at any given moment. Content on the Site is informational and may be revised or removed without notice. See also the Disclaimer.
External links
The Site links to publishers of standards, regulations, and reference materials. Safety Critical Labs does not control those external sites and is not responsible for their content, availability, or terms.
Changes
These Terms may be revised. The current version is identified by the Effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Safety Critical Labs is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
